Video: Controversial Whistleblower Edward Snowden Speaks to Vice About The Modern State of privacy

Controversial whistle blower talks about the modern state of personal privacy world wide. The information provided by Snowden is shocking to say the least. The next generation arms race is this race to track me and you. Governments around the globe are targeting there citizens and other governments to exploit and control. The number one target of these new weapons is your call phone. We live in a golden age of communication but there is a very dark side to this new advancement. Regardless of how you feel about Snowden the information he provides is very important to understanding the magnitude of the privacy wars taking place all around us.

The NSA was even caught spying on the committee responsible for it's oversight. When initially asked under oath about the surveillance by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence the Director said they weren't spying on the committee, lying under oath. Heres how it went:

Forbes: Finally, as recently March 12, 2013, in a hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Sen. Wyden had this exchange with Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who was under oath:

Wyden: Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?

Clapper: No sir.

Wyden: It does not?

Clapper: Not wittingly.

Any ordinary citizen engaged in this sort of activity would be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Every American knows instinctively this isn't how a functioning government is supposed to operate. The blatant in your face lawlessness is astounding. I like most conservatives have mixed feelings about Edward Snowden but that doesn't negate the fact that he has information that deserves to be explored and exposed to the body politic.
